Most of our participants are school students under 18. These are the rules we hold ourselves to for their data and their safety at the Summit.
A student under 18 may only be registered by, or with the clear permission of, a parent, guardian or their school. Every student form carries a consent tick before it can be submitted.
Student registrations ask for a parent or guardian's phone number, not the child's. All follow-up calls go to that adult or to the school coordinator.
We collect only what is needed to issue a pass and contact a responsible adult: name, school, class, email and a parent's phone. Nothing sensitive, ever.
Children's data is never sold, never shared with sponsors or partners for their marketing, and never used for advertising, profiling or automated decisions.
The Summit is photographed and filmed. If you do not want your child to appear in published photos or video, tell the registration desk on the day and email privacy@ccq.co.in — we will exclude them from anything we publish.
Student delegations are expected to be accompanied by a teacher or school representative. Independent teams under 18 must have a parent, guardian or teacher reachable on the phone number given at registration for the whole of the Summit day.
Only organising team members who need it to run registrations, stalls and competitions. Access is not given to sponsors, exhibitors or other schools.
A parent, guardian or school can ask us to delete a child's record at any time by writing to privacy@ccq.co.in. We act on it within 30 days, and we delete all registration and exhibit records within 12 months of the Summit anyway.
If anything at the Summit worries you about a child's safety or privacy, speak to any organiser wearing an Organising Team badge, or email safeguarding@ccq.co.in. Every report is looked at by the organising board.
